By opening up and reorganising the existing kitchen and dining areas, new flexible, spacious and contemporary, open plan living areas are created within this Victorian semi detached family house situated within a conservation area. Incorporating a large new timber, painted render and glazed rear extension enables natural light to penetrate deep into the interior and reinforces the link to the garden. Timber decking and full width folding/sliding glazed doors peel back to allow full access to a sunny patio and continues the floor finish, visually drawing the eye out into the long south facing rear garden creating the illusion of space.
Completed spring 2008.
